L20 dream boost

Love my new bike. The l20 boost is a definite game changer for legal road bikes.
I live in a hilly area and the boost button if a lifesaver, you do dramatically slow down on the slightest of inclines. If you’re in a hurry or you really don’t want to work your legs you can use the boost button with ease. But I tend to save the boost button until I really am struggling, as I’m quite happy to just cruise along nice and slowly. But one press and the difference is amazing, it’s instant power for a whole minute if needed I flew past my brother on his bike with ease.
If only the bike came with that much power as standard it would be fantastic, but then I suppose it wouldn’t be road legal so it’s a good compromise.
Colour is stunning, get so many people enquiring what sort of bike it is and complimenting it. I always praise it ( I think I should be getting commission lol)
Bike was easy to put together and came with the tools needed to do this.
Brakes aren’t great unfortunately and the mudguards aren’t really long enough. I was covered in mud when I got back first time out.
My brother soon rectified this by adding an extra piece to the mudguards front and back. But I think maybe this could be improved by the manufacturer.
Engwe were really helpful when I ordered the bike I forgot to apply a voucher code they sent to save £100.
I let them know and they very kindly refunded the £100 which I truly appreciated.
I’m now looking for a cover that will fit around the battery while on the bike and base of the battery connect on the bike to try and help stop them getting covered in mud. And need to get a fire proof case to store the battery indoors for peace of mind.
Getting abit cold out now and I’ve not had it long so I’m looking forward to next year when I can enjoy it everyday.

Brilliant Ebike!

This is a great bike, delivery was spot on, everything needed to put the bike together included and assembly was a simple task.

First ride was amazing plenty of power from the motor and the boost button is fantastic, my friend was on his 1000w Ebike and with the boost button mine out accelerated him (up to 15.5mph) and even the steepest hills were no problem. Great bike well built, solid and loads of torque!

I love riding this electric bike. I especially appreciate its handling and the comfort provided by its wide tires. It performs just as well on the road as it does on trails. The electric assist is fantastic. Assembly was also very simple, and the videos on the seller’s website were extremely helpful.

L20 Boost; worth the wait

I had never ridden an ebike prior to ordering the newly announced L20 Boost. I had already decided on ordering the L20, but when I came to place my order the Boost was offered at a great price for early adopters so I changed my mind in the knowledge I would have to wait for stock to arrive in the UK. I had researched ebikes on the Internet before I made my decision and continued to gain more knowledge waiting for its delivery.
Due to a recent vehicle accident I am unable to drive a car but can ride a bike. The Boost fits my purpose perfectly. My local area contains good arterial roads as well as rural roads that include steep inclines and varied surfaces. Forest trails are also available nearby, so I needed an ebike that was best suited to this varied terrain. Trips to local shops was also a requirement. The Boost hasn't failed to cope with all of the above terrain. The practcality of the front and rear loading trays allows for ample cargo capacity.
The power generated by the Boost button is a welcome addition when the going gets tough. I doubted this bike would cope with some of the steeper inclines in my area but there is nothing that has defeated me yet.
I can thoroughly recommend the Engwe L20 Boost.
