Unboxing and assembly took me about 20 minutes – the battery came at 75% charge.
I followed ENGWE’s official assembly video, and everything was straightforward.
The rear wheel comes pre-installed. You just need to lock in the front wheel, swap out the protective caps on the steering shaft, attach the handlebar, and pop up the seat post – then you’re ready to ride.
All the wiring was already connected, except for the front headlight, which only required a simple plug-in connection.
My front brake disc seemed slightly bent and was rubbing a bit. I contacted customer service, and they quickly sent me a video tutorial. I followed it and fixed the issue easily. Support was fast and responsive.
I weigh 130 kg and usually carry a backpack while riding.
My test ride was around 20 km, and the battery dropped from 100% to 80%.
To be fair, I really pushed it during testing. Riding exclusively in PAS level 5 will consume more battery, which is expected.
I live in a hilly area, so about half of the ride was uphill. I usually kept the bike in the lower gears, which felt like a light workout with solid pedal assist support.
I’m not sure exactly how the gear ratio impacts the battery, but overall, the experience was smooth, powerful, and efficient.
This is a great product – highly recommended!

I love my Engwe P275 SE! It looks nice, rides smooth, and feels safe. The brakes work well and the battery keeps me going for a long time. Im really happy with it!

I wanted something that makes cycling easier without taking away the real experience. This bike does exactly that. It still feels like riding a normal bike, just smoother and lighter. A really good investment, especially if you’re trying to use the car less.

I live in a fairly hilly area, and this bike has been a lifesaver. I still get a good workout, but I’m no longer arriving everywhere sweaty and exhausted. It rides smoothly and feels safe, even in busy traffic.

The battery lasts longer than I thought. Great quality, easy to use, and fun to ride. Wish I had bought it sooner!
